The hub should be connected directly to the USB-C port on your computer.

The hub requires 15W of power to operate. When using an external power supply, the Belkin AVC009 will use 15W of the output capacity of the power supply. Due to this, some laptops will detect the power supply as not providing enough power and may charge slower than normal or not charge at all. This is due to the firmware of the laptop and not of the Belkin AVC009
